I don't want it to be like that. I don't think it will stay this way. It's just how I've felt over the past few weeks. Funny, how life can be a new adventure for children everyday..and I get stuck looking at the sink full of dishes, the laundry that needs folded, the diapers that need changed, the food that needs prepared. I think that's the challenge for Moms. It's finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. It's waking up...and not just walking through life in that "Mom" daze.
My prayer is that God will "wake me up" . I know the these days will pass all to quickly. I don't want to miss them....

Oh Momma, do I hear you!!!! I can completely relate and have prayed much the same thing more than once on this
... oops hit the wrong button ;-) Was saying that I have prayed the same thing more than once as I've walked this mothering journey.
My children are now ages 15, 12, and 9 yr old twins... the time has FLOWN by! We keep a photo on the dresser in our bedroom of our 15 year old son when he was about 4 months old... JUST to remind us how quickly the time is going... when the photo was taken I had to hold him up because he wasn't sitting on his own yet... NOW he is 6'1" (almost 1 foot TALLER than me!), and a wonderful young man.
YOU'RE DOING AN AWESOME JOB! You WILL see the fruit of your time & effort with them as they grow... JUST KEEP PRAYING FOR THEM! The prayers of a righteous 'Mom' availeth much!
Keep up the great work!
