My three sons...

Wow...I have totally gotten out of the habit of blogging. I need to get back on the bandwagon! This summer has just flown by. It's surreal that it's almost August. How odd is that. It seems like we lost the month of June due to all the RAIN we had here in Tulsa....and now school supplies are on sale. Go figure. Anyway...here's a quick update on the Johnsons....
This past week, our church had "music camp", for kids pre-school through 5th Grade. The preschoolers learned 5 songs and performed them last night, and the "older" kids put on a full musical. I got to be involved with the older kids a bit, and JD got to sharpen his musical talents. ( you can sample a portion of this in the video from my previous post...)The performance was actually really funny. JD was standing next to a kid in the front row. He and this little boy were VERY excited to be there. This little boy started tickling JD, grabbed his shirt collar and was pushing him. Granted, JD was laughing and enjoying it...but mind you, he was not the instigator. The choir director took JD's face in her hands...and moved him to a new spot...by a teacher. I just sat there in my chair saying..."Yep...that's a Johnson boy..." He did sing VERY loudly, in that unmistakable sing/yell that kids have. You could defiantly pick his voice out from the crowd.

Caleb is as silly as ever. He is still not talking much, but he Jabbers all day long. He has much to say...just won't put words to it. His new skill lately, is taking his diaper off. This would not be bad, if he was potty trained. I've had to change sheets many times this past week. I've even found him stripped down and laying prostrate in the sandbox. (I can't imagine that's comfortable)I've tried putting his diapers on backwards... I've tried putting a "onsie" on him with pants on top of that... I think duct tape is my next move...

Nathan is crawling, drooling and pulling himself up on things. He is a happy little camper.
He loves everyone and is just pleased with life.
He tries to get in the middle of things with his brothers...and they have learned not to ever put their fingers near his mouth. He got JD pretty good the other day .... He's saying words like "Dadadadadadadada....and Pthhh....and Buh. He loves to be naked...and tries to crawl away when ever we are changing him. I think I'm seeing a trend with my youngest two....

Anyway...that's about it right now. I leave on Tuesday to go visit my friend in MN. I can't wait! I'm sure after my restful time there I will just be full of things to write....
Till then....

JD's choir performance

This video was taken tonight at Cedar Ridge Christian Church. JD had sooo much fun at Music Camp. He LOVES to sing. We had a lot of fun watching him.

Back in town

Wow...so much to catch up on! I can't write it in one post, but I will say that I survived my trip to Denver with the boys! I drove to Colorado by myself with my three boys. They were AMAZING. I was so grateful that they traveled well. It would have been a LONG trip if they had been difficult. It was great to see family and friends. I totally enjoyed have NO MOSQUITOES! My poor kids have been eaten up since their return. Anyway, here are a few pictures...I'll write more later....
